I was born in the United States of America.

As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday, I’m reminded how incredibly blessed we are. This nation has set the standard for freedom, innovation, entrepreneurship, exploration, and opportunity. From electrifying the modern world to powered flight, from landing on the moon to countless medical and technological breakthroughs, America’s impact on history is hard to overstate.

By global standards, most Americans enjoy a quality of life that much of the world can only dream about. That’s something I never want to take for granted.

Today, I’m simply grateful—for those who built this nation, those who defended it, and those who continue to preserve the freedoms and opportunities we enjoy every day.
