DDP Yoga
Want to feel younger? Lose weight? Get in shape, despite injuries and limitations?
DDP Yoga is a workout that meets anyone at their current fitness level for a powerful workout. There is no equipment needed (aside a yoga mat) and the workout has no joint impact. This workout is for anyone who is out of shape or elite athletes, and anyone in between.
DDP Yoga combines four elements for a powerful workout:
🧘♀️ Traditional positions
🧘🏻♂️ Old school calisthenics
🧘 Sports rehab therapy
🧘♀️ Dynamic resistance
DDP Yoga incorporates yoga movements into each workout but feels less traditional. It was once called “Yoga for Regular Guys” and I’ve heard people nickname it “Bro-ga”. We don’t say namaste nor does it incorporate elements that some people feel is “spiritual”. Simply put, it’s an amazing workout from a yoga mat. This workout has changed many lives. YouTube is loaded with inspirational stories from folks who have overcome obstacles, overcome injuries and/or lost hundreds of pounds. DDP Yoga helped me recover from injuries sustained in a car accident after I was struck by a drunk driver. Despite spinal stenosis, I’ve ran the marathon distance or greater 35 times since the accident.

I originally found DDP Yoga from this video several years ago. I used DDP Yoga during the final 20 months of rehab following 2018’s car accident. Since then, I’ve continued DDP Yoga. It helps keep me conditioned, improves my core strength and leaves me feeling young. Most important, I don’t feel 47. In fact, I feel like I’m in my late 20s despite having spinal stenosis.
