It’s Been a While… Let’s Catch Up

I had to actually stop and think about the last time I updated this blog… and honestly, I couldn’t remember. It’s been a minute. Over the last couple of years, I’ve found myself gravitating more toward social media—shorter posts, quicker thoughts, and (let’s be real) a whole lot more engagement than the long-form blogging days ever brought in.

That said, this space still matters to me. And so do the people who read it.

The past 18 months have been one of the busiest seasons our family has ever walked through. A lot of good, a lot of growth, and yes, plenty of challenges—some professional, some personal, and a few that will stay between the lines for now. Economic conditions have been… let’s call them “adventurous,” both in my corporate world and in the business I own. Life has thrown a few curveballs, but we’re standing strong and we’re grateful. Truly grateful. There’s a lot to be thankful for in 2025.

And even though my time has been limited, I miss writing here. Long-form writing is therapeutic for me in a way that a quick caption or a reel just isn’t. So one of my goals heading into 2026 is to show this blog a little more love again. I know there are still readers who come here for the deeper dives, and I want to keep you all in the loop.
