Leveling up. Iron Will Grand Slam

Time to level up.

After a 32-month recovery from a car wreck that left me with spinal stenosis, I made a promise to myself: every year, I’d take on the hardest physical challenge of my life. It started in 2020 with a 50k and leveled up each year—most recently with the Honey Badger 100. Now it’s time to go even bigger.

This year’s goal is the Iron Will Grand Slam: four 100-mile races. The first race begins Friday at 5pm at Earth Day Buckle Mania. I will also run at Iron Will Backroads 100 (May), Honey Badger 100 (July) and the Iron Will 100 (September).

As part of this challenge, I’ll be raising funds for New Dawn Co.—a Wichita-based nonprofit that supports individuals living with medical challenges through exercise, nutrition, and emotional wellness programs. They help people build healthier, more fulfilling lives in a welcoming and professional environment.

Let’s go.
