Fitness Tip Friday: Journal your workouts. Set trackable goals and update your log every day. Just watch, you’ll be driven to put in the extra time when your “inner-excuse maker” tries to negotiate. I’m 10 years in and still have days when I don’t feel like putting in the work. I stare at the floor while trying to come up with an excuse to take it easy…and then I think of that workout journal. And this same tracking mechanism works with family goals, reading goals, spiritual growth and more. Tired of always saying “I need to start reading the Bible every day” or “I’m need to have regular daddy/daughter dates with my kid”? Put that stuff in the workout journal too. Go get it.
