Working Towards Becoming a DDP Yoga Instructor
I’ve been working the past 9 months towards attaining my DDP Yoga instructor certification. I recorded a 55-minute session this afternoon to be submitted for review. I will find out the status in 8-9 long weeks. More work will still be required before completion, but I think this is the most difficult part of the certification process. It wasn’t perfect, but it was solid and lots of fun.
I want to give shout outs to my friend Jen Schaffer and my sister Julie Robertson for joining me on countless Facebook live practice sessions. They’ve had to put up with so many of my mistakes, bad cues and other madness. And big shout out to my wife Rachel, my favorite DDPY partner. She’s been hitting DDPY at least 4 times a week since May and has supported me through this certification process.
Big thanks to Antioch Wichita for allowing us to record in the basement. And what better backdrop than one showing how God helps us achieve goals? Perfect!
I hope to see some of you Wichita-peeps in my classes someday. In the future, I intend to teach DDPY free of charge to first responders, veterans and active duty.
One step closer….
