Processed and sugary foods are addictive. Manufacturers know this and purposely design foods with flashy marketing campaigns to get you hooked. These companies are like your cable company or Amazon; they’re always innovating to capture a bigger portion of your paycheck.

One snack leads to a second snack and so on. One cheat meal can turn into a cheat day and then into a cheat week, before you fall off the wagon. How do you make those cravings go away? Replace them with healthy foods and resist the temptation for a long, long time. Your cravings will change with time. You will eventually crave REAL food. It won’t happen overnight–it might take months or even years. Remember, shop the perimeter of the grocery store and stay away from the aisles!!
