Set a goal on December 27 to run today’s Superbowl 4-mile race under 29:30. 16th place overall and 2nd in my age group. 6 weeks of speed training paid off as I finished at 29:28. Awesome race today, so much fun, great weather and lots familiar faces. Shout out to all the race organizers for another great year! Today was the conclusion of my 8 weeks of rest; long runs resume next week. Time to add the mileage and get at it again.
