Need for Discomfort Solved with 3-Hour Workout
This was the hard workout I needed. I’ve been hit with some post-COVID side effects that are common with this current strain. I’m doing fine, but it wrecked my ability to workout 5 days in a row this week. 5 days of not working out means I didn’t get uncomfortable enough this week. I needed to do something challenging, so I created my own 3-hour “Orangetheory-like” type of workout. I ran speed intervals on treadmill for 10 minutes. Then I headed to the floor for 10 minutes. Workouts varied but was half strength training and half core-focused. Then back to the treadmill for 10 more minutes of speed intervals. I continued the 10 minute then rotate for 3 hours. 90 minutes for 11 miles on the treadmill, 90 minutes on the gym floor. The workout felt great and was exactly what I needed. I feel ready to hit the ground running next week. Have a great weekend y’all. Go get it.
