100 Miles Complete!

Heartland 100 mile Ultramarathon complete!

This was insanely hard yet an amazing experience. I’ll write more later when my bearings are together. The last 20 miles were deep into the pain cave—I left everything on the course. I refused to let it break me.
Remember, 13 years ago I was fat and lazy and drunk nearly every weekend. I didn’t do anything special this weekend…anyone can do this. Anyone can find something hard and take it to levels beyond imagination.
Although I did the running, all credit and glory to God for this accomplishment. I wouldn’t have made it to the start line yesterday without His strength. Through the strength of my savior,Jesus Christ, this run was completed 2111 days after the car crash left me with spinal stenosis.
Big thanks to my crew. And pacers: Tony Brown, Matt Anthony, Bryan Pate, Ashley Nichole Jacobs and Rachel Magnuson. WE completed a 100 ultra this weekend. Couldn’t have done it without you. Special shout out to Rachel Magnuson for handling dozens of logistics behind the scene. I’m blessed she is so supportive with my crazy goals and ideas.
And thanks to Matthew Penner for coming out on Saturday and Sunday both. Thanks for the support brother!
Hope y’all had a great weekend.
Do something hard this week.
Go get it!!!
