Celebrating our Nation’s Independence
I’ve seen a lot of anti-America posts lately that are disturbing. There are a lot of messed up things for sure, and we need to get better. But the lack of gratefulness for what we all have right now as individuals is very sad. We have more rights and freedoms in our country than any other country in the world. We’ve set the bar so high that people in other countries want what we have. Billions of people around the world wish they have the life that you have right now. $2200 makes you richer than half the people on planet earth. Think about that, a flat screen TV, computer and iPhone makes you richer than half the population. This country isn’t perfect, has never been and never will be, because its made up of imperfect people. With that said, despite its flaws, it is still better than any country in the history of the world. Take a minute to stop listening to all the noise and just be grateful… “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”
